singapore rocks :D

i'm back from the awesome country called singapore !
didn't wana come back :(
since it's so awesome , im gona blog about it :D
took such a long time for this post >:)
pictures will be uploaded in the next post . probably :P
1st Day ( 12.12.10 )
reached singapore at around 12 pm
got to say that singapore does looks like msia :O
we followed a tour
we had a tour guide called benson who speaks cantonese -.- ( you know my cantonese sucks ! D: )
so they brought us for lunch first at a food court
ate chicken omelette rice :D
after lunch , he brought us to sentosa ! :D
took a few pics there
then , we played luge and skyride :D
luge is FUN ! it's something like a go kart . just that it's smaller
skyride is AWESOME :) just that the weather kills D:
we visited the wax museum after lunch called " Images of Singapore "
gotta say the museum is veryy interesting ( unlike m'sia's one , sorry :P )
there were wax humans , beautifully decorated rooms
took alooooot of pics there :D
later , he took us for dinner at a italian restaurant
dinner was DELICIOUS :D
it was a italian buffet , and the food is damn goooood !
i keep refilling my plate :)
after dinner , we watched " Songs of the Sea " at a nearby beach
it was a musical cast play
damn , it was one of a kind show !
it's not like any other musical cast play , it was freakingly AWESOME !
they were playing with lights and water
i've never seen anything like that in malaysia :p
we finally checked into our hotel
our hotel wasn't that big , it was booked by the tour
oh well , at least it was still comfy :D
2nd Day ( 13.12.10 )
woke up at around 7.30 am ( i was having a hard time waking up :p )
went for breakfast at another food court
visited a very AWESOME place after breakfast
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE ! ;D
i was super excited to visit there !
there were like many places !
Hollywood , New York , Sci-Fi City , Ancient Egypt ,
The Lost World , Far Far Away , and Madagascar !
we were like snapping pics at every min
there were just so many things to see !
and out of all sudden , it started drizzling :'(
but thank God , the rain stopped after a few mins :D
the first game we played was called " Accelerator " a spinning game in Sci-Fi City
and it wasn't as fast as i thought ( though my mum was screaming -.- )
next , we went to Ancient Egypt and played " Revenge of the Mummy "
and that was one scary roller coaster
it's different from any other roller coaster 'cause this one moves backwards !
i was so freaking scared , that i closed my eyes during the whole ride
after that , we played " Treasure Hunt "
it's not the treasure hunt game your're thinking , it's a slow ride around an area
was not really enjoying that game though
moving on , we stopped at The Lost World
played " Jurasic Park Rapids Adventure ", a white water raft system with state-of-the-art animatronics and a thrilling white water drop , thrill-seekers on circular rafts will be tossed on waterways within the Jurassic Park
p.s sounds interesting ? i copied that :p
we were seating in a same boat with another family
and one of them seriously looked like suet ling , the fatter version :p
besides that , we also played " Canopy Flyer " ( urm i've got no idea on how to explain that )
it's like a flying game , but it's scary and fun at the same time :D
my mum was like " that was the last fast game i'm playing " . and she meant it :(
our next stop was Far Far Away , a very beautifully decorated castle-like place :D
my first thought was to watch Shrek in 4D !
but damn , it was a friggin long queue !
we waited for like 40 mins ?
but the wait paid off as it was one unforgetable moment
4D was definitely more awesome than 3D !
next , we played " Enchanted Airways " , another roller coaster ride !
but this wasn't as scary as the mummy ride , i guess nothing is as scary as that
my mum kept her word and didn't played this one D:
after the ride , we turned back and visited Water World ! which is in The Lost World
Water World is a place where you can witness a tidal wave of death-defying stunts , along with thrills and spills from real explosions of fire and water at this sensational live water show !
unfortunately , we weren't allowed to take pictures as our camera might get wet due to the performance
it's a show where you wouldn't wana miss if you visit USS :D
we visited Madagascar after Water World
Madagascar wasn't fully built yet , so we just took pics and bought souveniers
after visiting every place in USS , we decided to visit them all over again ( to see if we missed out anything >:D )
took more pics than ever !
visited New York again , and we watched " Lights , Camera , Action ! " a filmmaker's incredible special effects as an empty soundstage becomes the setting for a major hurricane about to hit New York City !
dinner is so delicious ;D
after dinner , we visited almost all the gift shops in USS
bought souveniers for our friends :)
left USS at 7pm :'(
the tour guide took us for a boat ride around singapore ! :D
it was a cooling and quite boring ride
there was a recorder explaining about singapore but it was in cantonese . urghh :/
but still enjoyed it :)
took us for a ride around Orchard Road
then , we were sent back to the hotel
3rd Day ( 14.12.10 )
woke up at around 7.45am , we were late D:
had breakfast at a food court , again
after breakfast , we were suppose to visit a temple but my family didn't
we visited Bugis Street instead , while the others were visiting the temple
later , the tour guide took us to visit the Merlion :D
took alot of pics with the lion :p
but the weather was so freaking HOT !
after that , he took us to one of Singapore's biggest shopping complex
Vivo City !
but he said that it can't compete with Mid Valley
kinda true 'cause there were not as many people as there are in Mid Valley
but the things there were cheap , for a singaporean
bought a dress for $59.90 ;D
took pics with christmas trees :)
then we left for home :'(
singapore is definitely one of the most memorable family trips
i will try uploading pictures , idk what's wrong with my blogger uploading pics
it's uploading my pics so slowly D:
but i still have to choose a few pics out of the 622 pictures we took :D
that's all till then :)
