EASTER 2011

( Easter eggs in my church :D )

Easter this year brought me to tears through touching testimonies. Yes i know Easter is tomorrow, but my church decided to celebrate one day earlier. And i don't know why.

Anyways,  I reached church at around 2.15pm and it started off with ice-breaking. Then we were asked to wrap our hard-boiled eggs in mini plastic bags for the refreshment later. And the best part was the drama! We were told to get into our carecells and asked to act out a drama of a pregnant lady delivering her baby and that lady has to be a guy. It was damn epic weyh!

Later, we had our refreshments. There were cute eggs, food and some kind of brown soya. Didn't eat much 'cause i was not hungry.

Everyone then gathered at the sanctuary and the best part of the day started. which were the testimonies shared by a few of them. First, a short video clip was played. It was about a 18-year old girl named Sharon who was diagnosed with cancer. It showed how when she first knew she got cancer till her last moment of living. It was really touching and sad. Unfortunately, I can't find the video clip on Youtube, so I can't share it with you guys. Sharon's mother then came up on stage and started sharing her testimonies about Sharon. It was really sad to find out that she only get to meet Sharon after she passed away 'cause she was divorced and Sharon decided to live with her father. The moment she stepped in the mortuary and opened the zip of the green bag seeing her daughter's dead body but could do nothing and her ex husband did not even wanna let her attend Sharon's funeral. Almost everyone started weeping, including me. Every minute of her testimony was heartbreaking. :'(

Another video clip was played, and this time it was about Jesus' death that showed how much he loved us. This was much more sad-der. Do take a minute or two to watch this.

It's not the same video clip but it's something like that

Then 2 more testimonies were shared and pastor starting preaching. Everyone was dismissed at 7pm.

I've never expected Easter to be this meaningful this year :')
