Choir Performance and Mum's Belated Birthday

It's Malaysia Day today. And guess what? My friends and I performed a patriotic song titled "Satu Malaysia" in a choir in the assembly yesterday. We were forced to actually since we won first place in the patriotic singing competition last month. I didn't blog about it because we actually suck in that competition. Everything went wrong yet we won 'cause we wore traditional clothes.
Everyone was rushing in the morning yesterday. I wore a samfu. I borrowed it from Cik Lim. It was a white top with a black skirt. I had to help a few of them with their hair. Actually, most of them. I helped to braid Leah, Mei Thoong, Shas and Woo's hair. Didn't even have time for mine.
The performance started after the boring speeches and prize-giving ceremony. The group who won 3rd place went up first followed by the runner up. We were all nervous when it was our turn. 12 of us sang our best on stage. We didn't use the microphone after seeing the results of the 2 groups before us, so we had to sing extra loud. The crowd cheered after we finished singing. It was close to perfect. ;) There were a few mistakes though but screw that! It's the memories that count.
Oh, I celebrated my mum's belated birthday at Little Pantry last Sunday. Happy Belated Birthday Mum! I know you might, WILL not read this but you're the best mum in the world! Though you may be scary at times. xD
Pretty Mum. ;)
Mum's Birthday cake. ;)
P.S She is not 3 years or 30 years old.
PMR is in 3 weeks time and I am having my 2nd trials next week. Oh btw, I scored 7A's for my first trials! TEEHHEEE. Kthxbai.
