Doomsday

Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

I'm back people! Notice the title above? Yes it's called 'Doomsday'. Why? Because PMR results is coming out tomorrow! And I'm really nervous now. Especially for Malay language which I didn't do pretty well on it. I'm also quite worried about my Living Skills paper. Well, I'm quite confident of the other papers. Still, I wanna score straight A's in PMR! I mean, it's been my goal since I started this year (or last year, or probably since Form 1) and I don't want to see it crushed by tomorrow. Honestly, I'm not really confident in this examination, thanks to the super hard BM paper 1. Therefore, I shall put all my faith and hope in God, praying that He will help me to achieve my main goal for this year. And I believe that He will. :)

Anyways, my church had organised a youth Christmas party last Saturday which is called Dressed To Kill 2. And it was a BOMB! It was one of the best youth event that I ever attended! So I'm gonna share a little here. ;)

The event was supposed to start at 7pm but I have to reach church early 'cause I'm one of the models for the fashion show. But I was an hour late instead HEHEHE. So we got dressed and we got our make-ups on. There were a few make-up artists there which is cool 'cause I never got make-up by a professional make-up artist before. Christina did my hair. She did a side bun for me and curled my fringe. My hair was pretty that night kekeke.

Everyone gathered outside the church first for refreshment. I didn't eat dinner that night and I only ate a few sandwiches for the last 10mins? My hair took a long time. And guess what? I bumped into Cullyn! Li See invited her and a few other people from my school which I didn't recognized any. Then at 8pm, we gathered at the chapel. Sarah Loke was the host of the night. It started off with an ice-breaking session where the guys and girls versus each other by throwing balloons over the other side. The girls lost to the guys as there were more balloons on our side. :( Then, everyone was to pop a balloon and answer a question that is written on a small piece of paper which was in the balloon. I am scared of popping balloons (like seriously), so I got Bailey to pop mine (which I screamed along the way xD) and sadly, my paper got no question at all -_- There were 5 winners and they each got a bottle of sparkling juice.

Then, there was a special performance by Rachel and Ryan. Sadly, I couldn't watch their performance as all the models were supposed to start changing already. Rushed into the Visitor's Lounge, got into a pink singlet, high-waisted denim skirt (Oh wait, I forgot to say that the theme for this event is Denim. So everyone was to come in demin clothings.) and a long peach cardigan. It was for the morning look. Gathered outside the chapel and everyone waited nervously. Becca started the fashion show followed by Keith then me. I was pretty nervous cat walking with heels that time, but I felt more confident at the second round. Wore a blue top with a black demin mini skirt for the night look. Came up with four poses at the very last minute. :P

After the fashion show, Pastor Chris preached for the night. It was totally hilarious and entertaining! Then, the best dressed female and male were announced. The winners were Irene and Ruben (Someone brought him, i forgot.) The event ended with a electronic dance! That was one of the best part of the night! We danced the can-can dance and did a human chain while running around the chapel. Everyone took pictures in the end and we were dismissed which was around 10.30pm.

Overall, the event was superbly awesome! I would say the highlight of the event is still the fashion show! Someone said my model walk was absolutely stunning ;) That made my day. Sadly there are no pictures for now 'cause none of them are uploaded on Facebook yet, so stay tune! I shall just slip the pictures into this  post when they are uploaded.

That's about it. Still nervous for tomorrow. Good luck to all the form 3s and keep me in your prayers. I WILL blog again tomorrow. :)
