MAD CAMP 2011

I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go.

I'm back from ze awesome camp!

Just so you know, I went for a 4 days 3 nights camp this week. My schedule was pretty packed these two weeks. Last week, I went out with my carecell members to play bowling at Mid Valley. I failed terribly at bowling. Don't ever ask me out for a bowling session. No joke. I also went out with my family to Sunway twice in a row. Also watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol with my family on Christmas night. Suet Ling, Woo and I went out for ice-skating on Monday. It was really funny watching the both of them learning how to skate ( Sorry :P ). Oh, and we made a new friend at the ice skating rink!

Now back to the topic.

MAD Camp was great! The games were fun especially the ultimate games session! I had two members who just came back from New Zealand in my group. They both had strong kiwi accent which was cool. :D  Everyone was wet and got stained by flour, eggs, oil and butter. But honestly, I think last year's games were more fun. The dramas were amusing. Not all were funny though.

The sessions were mind-blowing! I especially like the night session on the 3rd day where a few leaders shared about their experiences on teenage problems. Some shared about puberty while some shared about their love life. Honestly, these people are so brave to share about their stories although some were embarrassing. I didn't know some of them have been through puppy love and went through broken hearts. I didn't know that some of them have been living a lonely life and low self-esteem throughout their teenage years. One thing I learned about BGR (Boy Girl Relationship) through that session is, there might be a right guy that enter your life but it's the wrong time. We always think that we know everything about BGR but apparently we're wrong. We cross the limits without knowing it. So I guess it's best to remain single for now. :)

I personally felt that God has prepared this camp for me. I realized so many things that I never knew before. I've learn how to let go, feel beautiful again, overcome teenage problems and also learned about relationships. Missing camp already. ;)
