My Week In Words And Pictures.
posted: 10:11 PM | comments: 0

It's been a pretty busy month. I have devoted the first two weeks of March to my first term examination. Results turned out okay; they did not reach my expectations but I promise to do better in my next term. I can't believe March is almost over!

Us students were given one week of holidays and this is how it went:

On Saturday (23/03), Soaring Eagles organized an Easter Egg Hunt in conjunction with Easter Day at Bukit Jalil Recreation Park. The event was held for the youths only. There were quite many who showed up that morning. It took me a pretty hard time to get up so early for we had to reach church by 9a.m. (but I turned up at 9.45a.m. la so heh).

We were divided into groups; I was in Boon Keong's group together with Phoebe, Karyn and Shawn Teo. There were a few games; first one was a game where we had to remove as many marbles as we can from a pail of ice blocks using our foot. It was pretty hard for me at the beginning but it got easier later on. My group did the best in that. :D

I don't know whose foot is this lol.

Next, each group was asked to pull out the person with the best listening skills and another with the loudest voice. The person with the loudest voice has to direct the person with the best listening skills (who was blindfolded) to the place where our group's "treasure" was positioned. The remaining group members had to guide the person with the loudest voice without saying a word. I was one of the remaining group members for I can't scream/shout (what's the difference lol) very loudly and Fact #26: I am a pretty deaf person. (If you haven't read about 25 Random Facts About Me, click here to read it.) People have to repeat their sentences a few times to me until I finally get it. This game is a little hard to explain and it was tough for our group. We didn't do well. :(

We were trying to lead Karyn which obviously failed lol. Look at Keong hahahaha!

Then, we were separated into two vans to go to Bukit Jalil Recreation Park together. The last time I went to that park was about 2 years ago for another youth event. The park is huuuuuuugeeee! I almost died running around the park for a treasure hunt last time. This time, I almost died walking to and fro the toilet for the toilet was located so damn far.

Each group was given a slip of paper which contained the stations we were supposed to go to. Each station was named after a country. We had to compete against another group in an egg hunt in every station. My group won 1/3 stations. The one we won had the best punishment for the group that lost only had to sing a song with chocolates in their mouth. On the contrary, we had to squeeze toothpaste on our faces because we lost the other two stations. Ahh such luck.

The last game was a childhood game; Mother Hen and the Wolf. Except that the game had a twist to it, the last person in the line has to protect two eggs which are wrapped on his/her back. I have seriously no idea who won the game because it was kinda messy as no one was losing. D:

After cleaning up, we were served with egg sandwiches, 'kuih bahulu', ice-creams and fizzy drinks. Ahh they all tasted so good for I was so hungry and thirsty that any food tasted so good to me. The winners were announced; my group won 2nd place together with Hans' group which was a tie!

The next day which was a Sunday (24/03), my family and I went for a high tea in Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. It was for no special occasion; just wanted a good meal. The interior was beautiful and the food was of course, yummy!

Sunday's ootd.

Beloved mommy.

And I had terrible sore throat and minor flu that day due to the heat stroke on Saturday. /.\

On Monday (25/03) when the school holidays had officially started, Woo, Chui See, Shas and I gathered at Woo's place for an English debate discussion which was our oral test. The discussion sort of.. failed. I couldn't concentrate much for I felt more sick that day sigh. :( We got distracted and ending up camwhoring, a lot. :P Woo was pretty high on camwhoring that she even stood on a chair to get her face in the picture hahahah!

We then meet up with Samuel's group for lunch at Nainas. A few of us headed to Snowflakes for desserts after a tiring day of a failed discussion. And again, we took pictures heheh. The guys got tired of us taking pictures awwwh.

But they still had to join us. :P

Mom insisted of me resting at home for the next two days until I am fully recovered so rest at home, I did.

On Thursday (28/03), I went to Paradigm Mall with Woo, Jack and Wee. Had to settle so many transportation issues on the day before for everything started to fail us. -_- Luckily, we managed to find transport at the very last minute.

It was my first time visiting Paradigm Mall after H&M was opened!!! Felt so overjoyed and happy when I entered H&M ahhhh!!! Hahaha, I know I very sampat but I haven't been shopping for a pretty long time due to exam, so can't blame me for being like this right? I only bought one item from H&M due to the lack of time which is a dress from the....kids section lol. I can fit in it okay.

There was one incident that happened to me when I was in H&M. After I paid for the dress and walked away from the cashier, this lady who appears to be middle-aged came up to me and asked,

"Did you buy this dress for yourself or for your sister?"

I was like, "Urm, myself?"

The lady then asked what size did I picked and I told her the size.

"Oh good choice!" and she left.

That was seriously one weird and awkward moment. Spilled it out to my the guys later and to Woo who was trying on a pair of super high heels hahahahha.

We rushed to catch a movie, The Croods. The movie was really funny and touching! Love the whole plot although it was kinda stupid hahaha. I guess it must've been very very sad for Jack. :P

After the movie, Woo and I headed to Diva and I got myself a ring and a bracelet. Little did I know, I rushed out of Diva because my mom called with a bracelet with I tried earlier on hanging around my wrist. -____- I only noticed the appearance of the bracelet while waiting for my mom outside Paradigm Mall. How did I not notice the bracelet when I walked out of the door? -__- But I went to return it okay don't get me wrong.

Left the mall early for I had a 3 hours of torture in tuition ahead of me. :( Heard Woo and Jack dressed Wee up in different types of outfits. Damn, I missed it all.

The following day (29/03), I went to IOI Mall to catch another movie: G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The movie was just okay for me; maybe because I'm not so fond of action based movies. The whole movie consisted of fighting and shooting and fighting again, so hmm.. maybe it's not the type of movie for me. Initially, I wanted to watch Oz: The Great And Powerful but the last showtime was on Thursday. -_-

Also met a lot of familiar faces at IOI. I mean, it's nothing unusual for IOI is a place where the possibility of meeting someone you know (especially from school) is high but this time I met like a LOT. Met more than five people whom I know personally and more people which I know by name and looks.

Today is Easter Sunday, the day where Jesus rose after being crucified on the cross. Celebrated Easter at church as usual. Three people shared their testimonies on how God changed their lives and gave miracles which is really brave of them do to so. :) Hoping that someday, I will get the opportunity to experience a great miracle in my life and share a testimony like them! :)

#dressoftheday hahah. This was the dress I bought on Thursday.

Haven't been posting a picture of myself for quite some time, so there you go!

Tomorrow marks the first day of April and the day where reality hits again. Does anyone remember it's April Fool's day tomorrow too?
