Oh how I miss blogging.
Hello guys. As you can tell by the title, SPM is finally over!
It was a stressful November indeed. Had to juggle between time for studies, for church, for stalking purposes (heeheee ^_^) and such. This year's SPM was... different I would say. There were so many things going on since day 1. Students who passed away, papers which questions were weirdly designed- there were even students complaining about questions which got leaked out (seriously??). Overall, the papers seemed okay to me and all is done for sure.
Celebrated the last day of SPM by catching a movie with Xin Yue, Wee and Fung Yee! We watched Catching Fire and it was so damn good. Though I read the book last year, I could hardly remember the plot due to my ever-depleting memory. But the movie gave me so much feels I lost count of how many times I secretly cried during the movie. T__T The roles were well played and the movie was greatly interpreted as well. I wouldn't mind watching it again no joke.
Went for prom shopping with my girls during the weekend which was not a legit one since only Woo and Mei Thoong were hunting for prom dresses. I had something to wear already, so I was only hunting for a clutch/bag plus accessories to go with my outfit. Only managed to find some rings though, couldn't find any clutch/bag 'till today sighpie. Any recommendations on where to search for pretty bags?
This is what girls do best. Try on beanies without buying them and sneakily take selfies.
Also went for a karaoke session with Jack, Hedy, Fung Yee and Wee last week. Woo was supposed to join us but she was sort of grounded so :(. Usually, I don't do karaoke outings because I am not that interested in spending money on singing but I thought I should give it a try since the last time I went for one was like two years ago? Turned out it was quite fun and I nearly lost my voice.
While waiting for Hedy's dad to pick us up from Sunway Pyramid, we took pictures with the Christmas set-up. Managed to witness the sweetest couple shot taken by the one and only Hedy Hiew with instructions from Jack lololol because they were too shy.
This vain pot desperately posing for a new profile picture.
Sigh why so sweet.
Chilled at Hedy's place for a short while and we played Heads Up. It is like charades, except that you can use words to describe the word. Hedy skipped both Taylor Swift related questions when it was her turn the world must have hated her.
The last day of SPM marks the last day of school as well. High school was where I watched my primary school friends grew up, where the all of us reached puberty, where we started making new friends and get tied into relationships, where we experienced constant nagging from teachers and heartbreaks. I still remembered how the first day of high school went- being in a new environment, seeing so many new faces, running away from seniors lololol (no offence, but juniors these days are not even afraid of us seniors anymore). I also remembered how happy and overjoyed I was when I first got accepted to join the prefect board (which I hated for the next 3 years haha so stupid of me). Five years of high school had made me a changed person- it was the turning point of my life. It wasn't a drastic change (I hardly changed physically) but in person, I guess I did change. I will definitely miss my classmates whom most of them had spent five years of their lives being in the same class with me. As much as I hated being a prefect, I still miss making new friends during my duties and having some power for that point in my life lol.
And how can I forget my best friends? They were the ones who grew up with me, stick with me through thick and thin (lol sounds like a marriage vow), been through stress and joy together. They were the reason why I look forward to attending school at times. High school would not be the same without them.
Good times.
